Maybe that’s exactly what appeals to you. Care that feels uncomplicated in the morning or provides a little suppleness before make-up. With d’Alba, it’s worth first distinguishing between the formats. There are different products behind truffle serum, capsule serum and stick, which are also used in different ways.

Is d’Alba a Korean brand?

d’Alba is a Korean cosmetics brand. The company d’Alba Global is based in Seoul and lists the brand launch in its company history for 2016. The Italian-sounding name and the reference to white truffles are part of the brand idea: the inspiration comes from Alba in Piedmont, Italy. This can be seen in the company information from d’Alba Global .

For many products you can find the truffle extract under Tuber Magnatum Extract in the list of ingredients. It is part of the respective recipe. The name alone doesn’t tell you how rich the product is or how your skin will cope with it.

That’s why I would get to know d’Alba through the textures: a shakeable spray, a gel with small capsules, two separate care chambers or a solid balm. These differences immediately help when making your selection.

The White Truffle First Spray Serum 100 ml combines an aqueous phase with an oil phase. Shake well before use. A spray distance of around 20 centimeters is specified for the shop version; keep your eyes closed and avoid eye contact.

In a simple routine, you can use it after cleansing and then apply your cream. The manufacturer also describes the application for make-up. If you want to try this, first observe how your foundation reacts: some people like a fresh, shiny finish, while others prefer to stay matte.

The list of ingredients includes, among other things, niacinamide and avocado oil, as well as perfume and declared fragrances. If you specifically care for your skin without fragrances, this option is not a suitable choice. A spray serum also does not replace sun protection; it does not carry the corresponding protection label.

By the way, “truffle serum” does not always mean this spray. d’Alba has other products with similar names. When it comes to application and ingredients, the full name on your bottle is more helpful than a short search word.

Two chambers: White Truffle Double Serum & Cream

In the White Truffle Double Serum & Cream , Aqua Serum and Intense Cream are separated in the same jar. One texture is gel-like, the other is richer. According to the manufacturer, both can be used together or separately.

This is particularly interesting when cheeks and forehead feel different. You can remove more of the cream for a drier-looking area and stick with the lighter texture on another area. It doesn’t have to be an exactly calculated mixing ratio. Using a clean spatula, remove the amount you want to apply.

In the Aqua Serum, the brand names panthenol and ceramide NP, among other things. Here too, the complete recipe including fragrances is crucial. Vita Toning Capsule Serum: What do the capsules mean?

The Vita Toning Capsule Serum 100 ml is a serum for spreading on the skin. The small capsules are part of the formulation and are distributed when applied. You don’t have to open them individually or massage them in particularly vigorously.

The tested lists include sea buckthorn water, glycerin, niacinamide, glutathione and various vitamin C components. Perfume is also included. The names can be interesting if you want a more even-looking complexion; However, they do not promise any specific change in your pigment spots.

According to the manufacturer’s instructions, the serum is applied to the skin after cleansing and toning. Afterwards you can use your usual cream. If there are already several serums in the bathroom, I would first consider which task this one should take on. Two similar products next to each other are not automatically more helpful.

Which d’Alba stick do you mean?

There is an important difference in the word “stick”. The Double Serum All In One Multi Balm is a solid care balm. It contains, among other things, vegetable oils, waxes and shea butter and is spread onto the desired areas of the skin. This format can be practical for dry-looking cheeks or a small area on the neck. It is not a sunscreen stick.

The Air Fit Fresh Sun Stick , on the other hand, is listed with SPF50+ and PA++++. This is about UV protection and a sufficiently even application according to the product instructions. Take the instructions for your specific stick to hand. Similar casings or the word “serum” do not make the two tasks interchangeable.

Is d’Alba good – and how can I recognize the original product?

d’Alba may suit you if you enjoy smooth textures, a visible shine and these special forms of application. If you want to keep everything as fragrance-free and matte as possible, it’s worth comparing products in more detail. The suitability depends on the individual recipe and how it works in your everyday life.
