Arencia Vitamin C Booster Shot: Application and serum comparison

The Arencia Vitamin C Booster Shot is a light serum for your desire for more radiance and a more even-looking complexion. It absorbs quickly and goes well before cream and sunscreen in the morning. To get to know you, start with a small amount every other day. Vitamin C care fits into your everyday life as a clear step.

How to use Arencia Vitamin C

  1. Cleanse: You start on clean, dry skin.
  2. Distribute serum: Apply a small amount thinly. Use every other day to start.
  3. Apply cream: Your trusty moisturizer follows the serum.
  4. Protect in the morning: Sun protection is the final care step.

You can also use the serum in the evening before your cream. For the first applications, the process remains clear: cleansing, serum and cream. With your own space in the bathroom and a calm rhythm, application quickly becomes familiar.

To get started: First test on a small area. Arencia recommends not layering the booster with retinoids, strong active products, or exfoliants in the same application. If the burning sensation is significant or persistent, pause. Sun protection is a must in the morning.

Arencia or Dr. Althea: which serum is right for you?

The Arencia Vitamin C Booster Shot is right for you if you want to combine vitamin C care with niacinamide in a light, quickly absorbed texture. Panthenol and allantoin complement the moisturizing care.

The Dr. Althea Vitamin C Boosting Serum is another option for a more radiant complexion. It supplements the vitamin C building block with panthenol and hyaluronic compounds. This fits your desire for a moisturizing supplement before your cream.

Two vitamin C serums before your cream

Arencia is a concrete choice if you like the combination with Niacinamide and rapid absorption are important. Dr. Althea offers you an alternative with complementary hyaluronic care. For your new serum step, you choose one of the two and initially keep your familiar accompanying cream.

For more in-depth knowledge: Vitamin C and its various forms

You will encounter vitamin C in different compounds in cosmetic care. Arencia calls five percent 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. This is a vitamin C derivative, a related compound for cosmetic formulations. The statement 50,000 ppm describes the same concentration of this derivative.

Also Dr. Althea uses 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. The concentration of a single ingredient alone does not determine a ranking between the two finished serums. The care properties described above and the appropriate application rhythm will help you in your everyday life.

The vitamin C guide explains more about the active ingredient. For further care steps, there is the guide to active ingredient combinations and the Arencia guide.

A light layer of serum on freshly cleansed skin, followed by your cream: a little morning moment for a fresher-looking complexion.
