Why compare K-Beauty products?

Two moisturizers on screen, both sound good. Which one would you really like to use in the morning?

A K-Beauty comparison reveals differences that are easily lost between product names and packaging. You can see how much is contained, what texture is described and what ingredients are in the recipe. So you can choose Korean skin care based on the properties that are important to you in everyday life.

The feeling on the skin is part of the decision

Maybe you like a light gel cream, maybe you want a richer feeling of care after applying the cream. Even within a brand, products can differ significantly. Our article about Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun and Aqua-Fresh shows what role texture and skin feel play when choosing a sunscreen.

See price and content together

A cheaper tube doesn't necessarily contain as much. Therefore, in addition to the package price, the price per 100 ml or 100 g is also worth it. Always compare the same unit. The larger pack may be mathematically cheaper; To get to know each other, you might still want a small size first. The article Choosing a Korean skincare set is also about travel sizes and trial sets.

Understanding ingredients in context

A familiar active ingredient name alone does not explain the entire product. Two serums can have common ingredients and still have different care priorities. That's exactly what we're looking at at Anua Niacinamide + TXA and Rice Ceramide. The full ingredient list comparison helps you read beyond the highlighted ingredients.

What fits your previous care?

Before purchasing, think about which step the new product should take. Want to replace your cream or try an extra step? Even products that look similar are not always the same to use. The comparison of Medicube Zero Pore and Deep Vita C Pads classifies differences in ingredients and application.

Would you like to understand a specification in more detail? In our K-Beauty Notes you will find further explanations about products, care steps and ingredients.

Statutory guarantee

Official EU notice on the statutory guarantee. The full text follows below the graphic. Link to Your Europe, opens in a new tab.

Text of the EU notice

At least two years of statutory guarantee of conformity for goods sold in the European Union.

Consumers can assert their rights under the statutory guarantee, for example if the goods

  • do not correspond to the description,
  • do not function as intended.

Sellers are liable for any lack of conformity that existed at the time of delivery of the goods and becomes apparent within the statutory guarantee period. In such cases sellers must offer:

  • free repair or free replacement,
  • in certain cases a price reduction or a full refund of the purchase price.

Some countries apply a longer statutory guarantee period. For second-hand goods a shorter period may apply, but not less than one year.

For more information about your rights in a particular country, scan the QR code below or ask the seller.

What to do if you receive goods that do not conform?

  1. Report the problem to the seller as soon as possible.
  2. Provide proof of purchase, such as the receipt, invoice or a bank statement.

Sellers and manufacturers may also offer commercial guarantees that apply independently of the statutory guarantee. This GARAN label, for example, shows that the manufacturer grants a commercial durability guarantee at no extra cost that covers the whole product.
