A liquid is rubbed on the skin, small rolls are formed, and the video shows them up close. Pictures like this make you curious about Dr.Melaxin. However, they leave open what the product actually is and which part of the visible effect would be important for your own care.

For this brand, I would read the product name slowly. “Peel Shot” can be a washable peeling ampoule. “Calcium” is written on a face cream, but also on a tinted eye cream. These are different applications. If we separate them, an impressive clip becomes a much easier purchase decision.

What is behind the Dr.Melaxin brand?

Dr.Melaxin is a Korean cosmetics brand from the BRAND501 brand portfolio. In its own history, the company mentions 2021 as the start of the brand. According to his information, the international US shop is operated by BRAND501 US Corp. operated. The company group, shop operator and manufacturer of a specific pack provide different information.

The following three examples show how different the products within one brand can be: a rinse-off peeling, a rich face cream and a tinted eye care product.

Peel Shot Black Rice Ampoule: It is washed off

The Peel Shot Exfoliating Black Rice Ampoule 80 ml is a peeling product for rinsing off. This is the most important point of application: Despite “Ampoule” in the name, it doesn’t stay under the cream like a normal moisturizing serum.

In the shop instructions, an appropriate amount is applied after cleaning, massaged in gently and then rinsed thoroughly with lukewarm water. For the frequency and skin condition when applying, follow the labeling of your specific pack. There is no reason to rub as hard or as long as possible.

The tested recipe contains, among other things, rice bran water, cellulose, glycerin and gluconolactones. Fragrance is also listed.

And the rolls? Their visible amount is not a measurement method for removed blackheads. It is not possible to determine with the naked eye what proportion of an unrolled residue is product, skin flakes or other residues. Continuing to massage until as much as possible is created would therefore be an inappropriate goal.

When it comes to pores, calmer observation helps

After an application, look at how the skin feels: comfortable or tight, unchanged or irritated? A time-consuming peeling moment is of little use if the whole routine burns afterwards.

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends adapting peels to skin and existing care. Additional exfoliation, for example along with retinol, can cause more dryness and irritation; vigorous scrubbing is not a shortcut. If the skin is already irritated or injured, I would skip a peel.

Cemenrete Calcium Volume Cream: a rich face cream

The Cemenrete Calcium Volume Cream takes a different step. This is a cream that is applied after lighter care products. The international manufacturer lists it as Calcium Intense Cream.

Common ingredients on the tested lists include glycerin, macadamia oil, olive oil and shea butter, as well as niacinamide, calcium gluconate, collagen extract and hydrolysed elastin. The oily, richer formulation may be of interest to someone who is looking for just such a level of care. If you prefer light gel textures, this is an important cross-check before purchasing.

Moisturizing can make fine lines appear less noticeable. However, the AAD classifies its options as significantly more limited than the results of cosmetic procedures. This classification of anti-aging care is a helpful benchmark for great before-and-after promises.

Calcium Dark Spot Cover Eye Cream: Care with color

The Calcium Dark Spot Cover Eye Cream 15 g combines eye care with a light tint. The word “cover” is revealing. The matching ingredient lists from the shop and manufacturer include Titanium Dioxide and the color pigments CI 77491 and CI 77492.

An immediately even-looking skin tone can therefore also be an optical concealing effect. This is an understandable cosmetic function, without having to assume that there is an immediate change in the cause of dark circles under the eyes. It is also crucial whether the tint suits your skin tone.

The shop instructions call for a small amount to be carefully distributed around the eye area and patted in. Rubbing and pulling are not necessary. If you’re also using concealer, start sparingly and see how the two textures wear together.

Titanium Dioxide in the list of ingredients does not automatically make the eye cream a designated sun protection. For this you need the appropriate protection label. And if you have persistent skin or eye problems, the problem needs to be cleared up in expert hands, not just an attempt at more and more eye care.

Which of the three directions suits your concerns?

If you are happy with your cleanser and cream, a viral peel is not a necessary next step. If you want more pleasant care for dry-looking areas of your face, it’s worth looking at a suitable cream. If you want to visually even out shadows, tinted eye care asks different questions than a serum.

A specific sentence before shopping is helpful: “I would like my cheeks to feel less dry in the evening.” This makes it much easier to choose a formulation than with the desire to change all the signs of aging at the same time.

The brand overview shows further possibilities. When ordering, pay attention to the full product name and the available variant. The same series colors do not mean the same ingredients or the same application.
